Corporate membership entitles a business to receive IDA publications, discounts on conference registrations and apply for listing in our provider list. Our publications will be delivered by email to an unlimited number of your staff. These publications include:



Your company will receive by email, an electronic copy of IDA’s quarterly publication, Perspectives on Language and Literacy. Perspectives discusses educational best practices, curriculum methods, case studies and first-person application of multisensory structured language teaching techniques. One paper copy will be mailed to the address provided at the time of your membership submission.

The Examiner:

IDA’s quarterly e-newsletter keeps you abreast of happenings at IDA and on top of dyslexia and literacy-related events and information in the field and around the world!

Dyslexia Connection:

An electronic newsletter written for parents that deals with dyslexia and related learning disabilities. Articles focus on parenting, advocacy and other issues facing families with children who learn differently.

Discounts on the IDA Annual Conference:

Receive up to a $130 discount on registration fees when attending IDA’s annual conference on Reading, Literacy & Learning, a four day event that includes many topics devoted to teaching and learning. Discounted fees on branch conferences are also available to members.

Branch Membership:

Your company will be a patron member of one of IDA’s 44 branches in the US & Canada and will have the opportunity to meet and network with other professionals in the field.

Annals of Dyslexia:

IDA’s tri-annual Annals of Dyslexia is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the scientific study of dyslexia, theory-based practices on remediation, and intervention of dyslexia and related areas of written language disorders, including spelling, composing and mathematics. Annals publishes original empirical studies, significant reviews, and well-documented reports of evidence-based effective practices. Electronic access available to all members. Paper copies can be mailed to you for an additional fee.

Reading and Writing

Reading and Writing is an electronic interdisciplinary journal containing articles on the processes, acquisition, and loss of reading and writing skills.

Corporate members receive an unlimited number of discounts on registration fees at our annual conference (up to $130) and membership in your local branch. Finally, to promote your business with IDA members corporate members may apply to be listed in the IDA provider database (some restrictions apply).
