DYSLEXIA VIDEO DELIGHT 

On Friday night, September 24th, we are having another DYSLEXIA VIDEO DELIGHT  event.  We will have 3 wonderful videos to explain dyslexia.  It will start at 7:00 pm.

PRINCE EA – I SUED THE SCHOOL SYSTEM

This is a short video with Prince EA explaining how stupid he felt when no one understood his struggles.  He filed a suit and accused the School Board of killing creativity, individuality, and being intellectually abusive.

BEING YOU

This video features several successful dyslexic personalities explaining how they have dealt with their dyslexia.  They explain that dyslexia is not a learning disorder.  Rather it is a learning difference.  They give many suggestions of how to cope with it.

I CAN’T DO THIS BUT I CAN DO THAT

This video is for families and it’s about learning differences. Many children are interviewed and they discuss how they have discovered that they have real abilities and how they learned to use their strengths to overcome their challenges. Another wonderful video which highlights useful strategies.
