The 2022 PaTTAN Literacy Symposium will provide educators in all capacities with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and skills pertaining to evidence-based practices in reading instruction in grades K-12.

Target Audience

Elementary Educators, Secondary Educators, Special Education Teachers, Speech-Language Practitioners, School Leaders/Administrators, Reading Specialists, Teachers of English Language Learners, Literacy Coaches, Instructional Support Team Members, School Psychologists, Pre-Service Teachers, Higher Education Instructors, Paraprofessionals, and Families.

Keynote presentations are on the following days and times.  For individuals seeking training credit, attendance at the keynotes are REQUIRED  to receive credit for THAT day :

  • June 14, 2022    8:30am – 9:45am        Keynote: What Do Phonemes Have to Do With It? ~ Dr. Louisa Moats 
  • June 15, 2022    11:30am – 12:45pm       Literacy as a Human Right ~ Dr. Tracey White-Weeden
  • June 16, 2022    11:45am – 1:00pm         Do the Best You Can Until You Know Better ~ Dr. Anita Archer 

PaTTAN has partnered with event management platform Sched.com and will be using it for the ‘22 Literacy Symposium. You must register via the PaTTAN website to attend this event. There is no cost to attend.
