Reading Training in Arizona- New Legislative Expectations for every K-3 campus

This session is designed to inform all elementary school administrators of the requirements of ARS 15-704, ARS 15-701, and ARS 15-211, commonly known as Move On When Reading, as well as, the integration of Arizona’s dyslexia requirements. New legislation in Arizona requires the identification of at least one K-3 teacher on every campus serving K-3 students to have additional training in reading instruction. This session will discuss the law, provide information and recent changes, as well as guidance and support in planning next steps.
