Stress Less, Learn More: How to Team UP with Your Child when the Diagnosis is Dyslexia

Lisa Goldstein, MD is Board Certified in both Child and Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry. She has had a private practice in the Philadelphia area for 20 years and provides consultations for school districts throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware. She has always had a special interest in children and adolescents with complicated special education needs even before her own daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia. Dr. Goldstein graduated from Bryn Mawr College and Temple University School of Medicine, trained at the University of Connecticut, and completed her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at UCLA. Dr. Goldstein is a past President of the Pennsylvania Branch of the International Dyslexia Association. She actively supports patient advocacy through her volunteer work with Miles For Migraine and PBIDA.
Haley is a Licensed Social Worker in Pennsylvania and received a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice. She was diagnosed with dyslexia at age 8 and is always excited to share all that she has learned along the way. Haley’s areas of expertise include student accessibility, program evaluation, group facilitation, and training. She currently serves as the Program Manager at The Reflect Organization, a college student mental wellness nonprofit. Haley previously served as the Director of Youth Programs at Miles for Migraine, where she coordinated educational and supportive events for chronically ill adolescents and their families.
