The Nuts and Bolts of IEP’s

August 29 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Special Ed Advocate, Allison Vrolijk, Esq. will present.

Parents are their child’s best advocate, but they can only effectively advocate if they understand what a well-written IEP looks like, how to monitor and track progress, and what needs to be included in an IEP to secure the supports and services their child needs. In this workshop, Allison will take you step by step through the IEP document, teaching you how to write effective goals and objectives, how to read data and track progress, and how to avoid common pitfalls that occur as a result of a poorly written IEP

This event is sponsored by Dyslexia Forsyth in partnership with the International Dyslexia Association GA and Decoding Dyslexia GA.

Outreach events such as this provide opportunities for individuals to connect in person with parents, educators, and others interested in learning and engaging in discussions about dyslexia and related topics.

This partnered Outreach Event is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Please register to reserve your spot.
