Dyslexia Training! Understanding & Recognizing Dyslexia + An Intro to Structured Literacy

Understanding and Recognizing Dyslexia + Introduction to Structured Literacy

Presented by The International Dyslexia Association – Oregon Branch

This training includes a simulation, a presentation on understanding dyslexia, a movie based on the teachings of Diana King, and a presentation on structured literacy.  In addition, our award-winning student panel will share their knowledge and experiences.

This training meets the focus area of Understanding and Recognizing Dyslexia as described in Senate Bill 612/1003 and is approved by the Oregon Department of Education.

The training is $85 per person.  There is a discount of $10 per person if more than one educator is coming from a specific district or school.  Ticket includes a light breakfast and lunch.  The class has a minimum size of 20 and a maximum size of 35.  If the class does not reach the minimum, individuals fees will be reimbursed.
