October 5, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Gwinnett County Public Library System and IDA-GA are partnering to bring you a free, live webinar outreach event on Tuesday, October 5. Everyone is invited!  Register at https://whatisdyslexia10052021.eventbrite.com

What is dyslexia? Is it reading backwards? Won’t my child grow out of it? If we read more together, will Johnny learn to read and spell? This talk presented by an Orton-Gillingham Academy Fellow will focus on debunking the myths commonly associated with the science of reading, common red flags associated with dyslexia for various age groups, and the importance of early intervention.

Jennings Miller, M.Ed., is a Fellow of the Orton-Gillingham Academy (www.ortonacademy.org). Jennings trains teachers nationally in the Orton-Gillingham Approach to reading and writing. She has over 7,000 hours of experience tutoring students of all abilities in reading. Jennings also trains teachers in the Orton-Gillingham Multisensory Math Approach. https://jenningsmiller.com.
