Business partners Darren Clark and Kelly Holbrook of The Spotless Group have come together again to put on a charity gala to raise awareness of dyslexia and funds for schools and organizations, including Dyslexia Organization, Kenya—an IDA global partner.
The event was inspired by a recent trip Darren took to visit The Rare Gem Talent School in Nairobi, Kenya.
“They are doing fantastic work with limited resources and need a new building. It was a life-changing moment for me. In Kenya, parents have to pay for the education of their child….the Dyslexia Kenya Organisation needs to raise funds to build a new school. I want to help them create a place where children like me can learn instead of being written off.”
Darren and Kelly have enlisted the support of British TV personality, Paul Martin as a guest speaker for the event.
