IDA Welcomes New Chief Academic Officer of Educator Training Initiatives


The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) is pleased to introduce our new Chief Academic Officer of Educator Training Initiatives, Dr. Jule McCombes-Tolis.

Jule is coming to IDA with a background as an experienced classroom educator certified in special education and remedial reading, which she taught at the University level for sixteen years. She is an Independent Education Evaluator specializing in the identification and remediation of reading disabilities including dyslexia. Jule has been involved in developing state legislation regarding education preparation around dyslexia. She has also served on statewide panels that develop policy concerning dyslexia, learning disabilities, and general education response to intervention models. We are so pleased to welcome her to our team!
