Advocacy Toolkit


The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) has formed the IDA Advocacy Task Force to empower and support advocacy by third party advocates including, but not limited to, IDA Branches, Decoding Dyslexia state groups and other affiliated groups, at the local, state and federal levels of government to implement evidence-based, comprehensive literacy practices in every classroom in the United States (and partnering countries).

The task force is also developing a toolkit of resources to support parents and educators with research and other tools to advocate for best practices based on the science of reading. Check out the following links for a sample of the type of content to be included:
