The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) is excited to launch the “Global RED Soirée and we are featuring the charming city of Baltimore because we’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of our struggling readers.
Baltimore’s own commissioned artist, Loring Cornish, will host the Spotlight On Baltimore exclusive segment during the IDA RED Global Soirée.

The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) and Artist Loring Cornish have embarked on a bold fundraising effort to raise $200,000 to put resources including laptops, technology, software, and other reading resources directly in the hands of struggling readers and their teachers.
As a first-of-its kind, the IDA Dyslexia Awareness Commemorative Art Activation is an extraordinary fundraising campaign launch by IDA and hosted by Baltimore’s own commissioned artist, Loring Cornish. Standing in solidarity for Baltimore’s children with reading disabilities including dyslexia, the joint effort and partnership outreach is slated to make a positive impact in the lives of hundreds – even thousands of Baltimore students!
As a part of this epic giving experience, Loring has created the commissioned piece of art with the unwavering message and art invitational to fellow residents and business to:

Spotlight On Baltimore Will Bring Together Like Minded Top Influencers, Organizations and Companies to answer the Call To Action To Deliver Immediate Assistance To Baltimore’s Children Who Are Affected By Dyslexia and Other Reading Difficulties.
Right now, IDA is working to raise $200,000, and has called upon the assistance of City Baltimore and the business and residents to improve the future of our children and young adults.
