IDA YES! Program - International Dyslexia Association

The purpose of the Program is:  The IDA Youth Mentor program is dedicated to empowering students with Dyslexia to become strong Self-Advocates through education and awareness. The purpose of the IDA Youth Mentor program is to train students with Dyslexia to recognize and maximize their strengths, identify their areas of development, highlight effective accommodations, and communicate their needs to teachers, family and friends. Students in 7th-12th grade are trained in advocacy and communications skills to help mentor younger students with Dyslexia through in person workshops and webinars. The YES! Program also partners with many organizations to help educate and connect the dyslexia community in our state.
