Thank you for your interest in attending the IDA Annual Reading, Literacy & Learning Conference in Grapevine, Texas, USA. As an international attendee, there are extra steps you may have to take in order to come to the conference. In many cases, it becomes necessary for you to receive an official invitation from the event hosts in order to obtain your travel visa. In an effort to simplify the process, we have created a form for you to fill out that will allow us to create your personalized invitation in a timely manner. International Attendee Information
(Note: You will NOT receive your letter until AFTER you register and pay for the conference.)
Additionally, all international attendees should check and confirm current visa requirements to enter the United States with the nearest consulate in your home country prior to departure. When applying for a visa to enter the United States, it is recommended that you allow at least 60 days for the screening process to take place. Be sure to also check on any travel related restrictions or advisories that may currently be in place.
Please be advised that individuals attending the Annual Conference are responsible for planning and funding all of their own expenses, including registration fees, hotel reservations and travel plans.
