It’s TIME for our first summer chat! This Wednesday join Jovial Janet Street and her guest, the delightful Novaturient* Natalie Felix, for “Unlocking the Fun of Word Study.” This will be a fun and enlightening conversation on how the exploration of the written language can demystify the complexities of reading and writing for all learners. Together, these logophiles will delve into the joy and intricacies of words, their meanings and origins, and their powerful impact. Get ready for an engaging chat filled with laughter, learning, and linguistic discoveries.

*The term ‘novaturient’ refers to those who yearn for change and new experiences—a trait indicative of a positive outlook on growth and evolution. After witnessing her son’s educational hurdles, Natalie knew change was necessary, and she was determined to be a part of that change. She sought Orton-Gillingham training, and her dedication evolved from classroom teacher and tutor to teacher trainer. As an Orton-Gillingham Fellow, she now seeks to empower novaturient educators with a deeper understanding of the science of reading and Structured Literacy teaching methods. Novaturient Natalie is inspiring a new generation of teachers to make reading and writing a source of joy, not frustration.
