Anna Davide is a young adult who doesn’t let ADHD and dyslexia stop her from accomplishing her goals! She graduated in 2020 from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa (UHM) with a B.A. in Public Health and B.A. in Philippine Language & Literature, with an Undergraduate Minor Certificate in Peace Studies. Anna is currently working as a community health worker and a university lecturer, teaching “Introduction to Filipino Language”. She dreams of one day becoming a doctor.
Nicole Dolor-Bala is a freshman at UHM majoring in social work. She graduated summa cum laude in 2021 from Farrington High School in Honolulu. Nicole has been recognized for her work as a special education and learning disability advocate for other young people like herself. Reading is one of her favorite hobbies because it brings her to another world. Her favorite colors are blue and purple.
